New AI Assistant Enables Fund Managers to Access Data and Execute Workflows Directly from WhatsApp
Fund operations platform Taghash has launched a WhatsApp-based AI agent that enables venture capital and private equity professionals to access fund information and initiate operational tasks using conversational prompts, eliminating the need to rely on traditional software dashboards.
The launch is part of the company’s broader vision of building a headless software experience, allowing users to interact with its platform through natural language instead of navigating conventional interfaces.
AI-Powered Fund Operations
Integrated with Taghash’s data and workflow engine, the AI agent allows users to retrieve information related to deals, portfolio companies, funds and limited partners (LPs). It also supports operational workflows such as identifying pending follow-ups, discovering mutual connections for LP introductions, drafting reminder emails and initiating tasks directly from WhatsApp.
The company noted that all outgoing actions require user review and approval before execution, ensuring human oversight.
Builds on Earlier AI Infrastructure
According to Taghash, the new WhatsApp agent extends the capabilities of Taghash MCP, introduced earlier this year. The AI-integrated Model Context Protocol (MCP) enables secure connectivity between live fund data and AI platforms, including OpenAI, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
The latest launch is designed to make fund management more conversational, accessible and efficient by bringing AI-powered workflows into a widely used messaging platform.
Expanding AI-Driven Product Suite
The launch follows the introduction of Taghash Services, an execution-focused offering that helps venture capital and private equity firms manage fund operations, investor onboarding, capital calls, reporting and regulatory compliance.
Founded by former venture capital professionals, Taghash develops software for fund administration and portfolio management. The company has been expanding its product portfolio with AI-powered solutions aimed at automating workflows and reducing manual effort throughout the investment lifecycle.
Outlook
With the launch of its WhatsApp AI agent, Taghash is strengthening its push towards AI-first fund operations. By combining conversational interfaces with secure access to fund data and workflows, the company aims to simplify daily operations for venture capital and private equity firms while reducing manual processes and improving operational efficiency.
